Great support from the USA

People help in a number of ways and anything that we do can bring change.  Any amount of support is precious, generous and greatly appreciated. Below are some of the pictures of supporters that helped Ovaha Nursery School with donations.

Thank you guys for you support and help for the kids at Ovaha Nursery School and we hope someday you will make a trip to Malawi.

Hallo hallo good people

Being born and raised in Malawi, I am fluent or familiar with more than 10 dialects of this great land.  By learning different dialects, I am able to communicate and get answers from the malawians that I encounter everyday.  At Ovaha's Hut, we are able to identify needs and address them with help.  Education is still not a priority here and it's Ovaha's intention to jump start village children with education before the start of primary school.

In Malawi, a child starts primary school  at 7 years, so the first 6 years in the village often means a lack of intellectual stimulation.  Often times, parents would like to send their children to nursery school but it's not feasible because of funds or location.  We are looking to fill that gap in the Mulanje region.

Ovaha's Hut was not established to make profits and all donations will fund the school and elderly shelter.
Please join us in raising the educational standard of underprivileged kids in the community.  The name OVAHA translates to "giving" in English.  That's all we want to do.

Dreams need to have COLOR!

The Dream

Any kind of dream needs to have color.  At Ovaha's Hut we have a dream, a very big dream.  We want to change the landscape in the village community of Mulanje.  We want to provide a reliable home for our kids and our elderly people in the community. If you want to assist in bringing these dreams to fruition, welcome aboard!
Anything is possible when the heart IS FULL and the Spirit drives a project.  The top photo is the vision for Ovaha's Hut one day soon.  One hut will be the nursery school and the other will serve as a congregating area for the elderly.

No one too Rich not to receive or too Poor not to give

Have you ever woken up in the morning and you want to give but you have nothing to give?  If yes, we know that there is no one who is so poor that he/she cannot give or someone too rich that he/she cannot receive.  most people think that to give you need to have much or you need to be rich so that you can help, even though you are poor you can still give the little you have to the people around you.  No one is completely rich and no one is completely poor.  You can also give your time, comments,  ideas, advice, prayers and even well wishes to your community.

Ovaha's Hut was born in the country where it's hard to live a life complete without much pain, but this did not brought any discouragement to us.  We decided to stand up in this impoverished nation so that we can share the little that we do have with underprivileged kids and elderly people.  Many are needy widows or widowers that can't provide for themselves. Many people are rich but they do feel so because they are empty.  Others are desperately poor but their mind is full of color and helps them through the tough times.
Both rich and poor can come together and build the world for underprivileged people.  Any time that you may give to spread the word of Ovaha's mission is  miracle to us.  If not Ovaha's Hut, we encourage you to find a charitable cause to get behind and love!  Let's make the world a better place for people who cannot stand without a pillar, it starts with me, you, we, and us to take the initiative of supporting the needy.

we keep our stuff here
We should thank also the people who have been there for us, all of the current supporters.  We have been blessed with a house in the village for a poor woman who is also keeping our materials/supplies for safety. No one is so poor that he/she cannot give.  Please share any clothes, blankets, shoes, food supplements, bibles, nursery school learning materials and prayers with us.  You will be blessed when you choose Ovaha's Hut as your partner in development.

Part of Ovaha's Hut is the elderly shelter.  We chose to help the elderly, majority being widows and widowers, who can't manage to help themselves.

At Ovaha's Hut, we try to provide basic items like clothes, soap, body creams, salt, sugar, blankets etc.

We really like working with elderly, they are like an old library and a priceless resource for the community!!!!

Some of the elderly

And these are some of the elderly people who have already started benefiting from Ovaha's Hut, its not too late come and join us with that little you have it can bring a big impact to the community.
