Ovaha's Hut (Ovaha-means to give) its charity Organization with four functions that operates under one philosophy which is non other than giving the best to its community. At Ovaha's Hut we have four projects , Ovaha Nursery School, Ovaha Elderly Shelter, Ovaha Youth Canal and Ovaha Agricultural Base.
OVAHA NURSERY SCHOOL
The Nursery School was opened in 2009 and its main focus is to impart knowledge to underprivileged kids in the village, so that the generational gaps in education should be broken. A lot of parents in the village cannot afford to send their kids to a paying nursery school because of the living standard in the village. Ovaha Nursery school welcomes all the village children (under 6) to join the nursery school before starting primary school.

Mission
To provide knowledge to underprivileged kids in Takhiwa and surrounding villages before the start of primary school. We believe education is key in order to stop generational cycles that hinder prosperity in the village.
OVAHA ELDERLY SHELTER
The Elderly Shelters's main focus is mainly on widows and widowers who cannot manage to support themselves. The Elderly Shelter was established because some elderly in the community are deemed useless because of their age and decreasing health and strength. We also found that many of the elderly people were not being cared for, as it took much time for people to respond when they were ill and this meant some elderly were dying.

Ovaha's Hut distributes what we get from the well wishers, at the end of every month they are given soap, clothes. This support has meant that the elderly members once again feel part of the community.
Mission
At Ovaha's Hut the elderly people are regarded a bit like a library of knowledge in the present day To make the village a role model to others in caring, supporting and making the elderly population feel needed and loved.
OVAHA'S YOUTH CANAL
Its a new place for the youths, they will be imparted with skills like
Carpentry and Joinery
Tailoring and Knitting
Welding
Plumbing
Music and any skill that needs to be worked out with hands. This will help much to those that have no finances to achieve what they want, this skill centre its for free and it it looking much into girls to take a big part as they are more vulnerable in many aspects.

OVAHA'S AGRICULTURAL BASE
This base has been introduced as part of food security and income generating activity, this place is consisting of keeping of farm animal, planting all kinds of vegetables and fishing keeping, for both consumption and income. any profit that is made from the base assist the whole Ovaha's Hut and all the volunteers on board.
