Another Day for a Big change in Malawi

Ovaha's Hut is a family as we are a family based and raised in Malawi, we have a say in the matters of our country as citizens, Now we wish Malawi and Malawians a happy day for a change in politics and we pray for free and fair election for the benefit of the nation. Here is a little something about Malawi.
Malawi, is a land locked country in southeast Africa that was formerly known as Nyasaland. It is bordered by Zambia to the northwest, Tanzania to the northeast, and Mocambique on the east, south and west. The country is separated from Tanzania and Mozambique by Lake Malawi is over 118,000 km2 (45,560 sq mi) with an estimated population of 16,777,547. Its capital is Lilongwe, which is also Malawi's largest city; the second largest is Blantyre and the third is Mzuzu. The name Malawi comes from the Maravi, an old name of the Nyanja people that inhabit the area. The country is also nicknamed "The Warm Heart of Africa.
Malawi is among the world's least developing countries, The economy is heavily based in agriculture, with a largely rural population. The Malawian government depends heavily on outside aid to meet development needs, although this need (and the aid offered) has decreased since 2000. The Malawian government faces challenges in building and expanding the economy, improving education, health care, environmental protection and becoming financially independent. Malawi has several programs developed since 2005 that focus on these issues, and the country's outlook appears to be improving, with improvements in economic growth, education and healthcare seen in 2007 and 2008.
Malawi has a low life expectancy and high infant mortality. There is a high prevalence of HIV/AIDS which is a drain on the labour force and government expenditures. There is a diverse population of native people, Asians and Europeans, with several languages spoken and an array of religious beliefs. In 2013 this country Malawi there was about 15 million plus people with about more than 35 political parties but after scrutinizing its only 12 political parties with great leader of great manifestos to raise the living standard of people, which have been allowed to contest in Malawi General Tripartite Election. And the day its tomorrow the 20th May 2014, Malawians will choose a new leader, members of parliament (MP) and councillors, its a very first thing to happen in Malawi ever since Malawi got independence in 1964.
Ovaha's Hut wishes you all good and its our sincere hope that the elections will free and fair, out message to the new elects make sure to do what you have promised the nation of Malawi in your manifestos, you know where this country is coming from and remember those who are in the village, those who are poor, the widows and widowers, women and children and those born with physical disabilities because they are all the CITIZEN of Malawi, the warm heart of Africa.
